A Simple Gesture is a program that has launched in many communities around the country for people to support their local food pantry on an ongoing basis.
You will receive a reusable grocery bag from Weymouth Kiwanis and a list of items that the Weymouth Food Pantry needs this month.
Each time you go to the grocery store, pick up one or two things off the list and add them to the bag.
On the second Sunday of each month, place your bag outside on your porch. Weymouth Kiwanis members will pick it up and drop off a new bag with a list for next month.
Where can I get my bag?
A Kiwanis member will drop off a bag at your house within a couple days of you signing up!
Alternatively, you can pick up a bag at our monthly Kiwanis Meeting at Tufts Library on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
